Assalamu Alaikum. Fasting is a concept that is shared by many faiths, as it aims to bring people closer to God. Similarly, Ramadan is a time of reflection and devotion among our Muslim brothers and sisters. In this holy month, not only do Muslims abstain from their food and drinks, but they are also reminded on the virtues of faith, perseverance and charity. During this time, the significance of solidarity, reverence and brotherhood is highlighted. As the sole Islamic bank in the Philippines, Amanah Islamic Bank remains a strong advocate of Muslim solidarity as it continues the primary mandate of actively participating in the economic development of Mindanao, particularly in Muslim communities. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Al-Amanah Islamic Investment Bank of the Philippines (AAIIBP), I wish to greet the entire Muslim world, Eid Mubarak! ENRIQUE D. BAUTISTA, JR.
